Mountain People

This is my ADORABLE niece that I can't get enough of!!!

Colorado is known for one thing- its mountains! We love the mountains and get up to my parents condo as much as we can. We can't get enough skiing, snow shoeing, and relaxing. It nice to get away from our crazy lives for a few days and just relax. Here are a few pics from our trips this winter.

Australian Open

Normally, I really don't like January because it means Christmas is so far away and you usually have a million things on your to do list. And now I don't like January because people dont shop in January! But that is besides the point. The only highlight to January is the AUSTRALIAN OPEN! I love knowing that I can turn on the TV from 1-5 or 7-midnight and know I will be watching good tennis. It is so exciting and we can't get enough of it. I personally think Andy will win it all, I have faith in him although no one else does. And Henin is back this year, whom I dislike strongly, very strongly. She has no class and is a wimp but she keeps winning and its driving me crazy! We are hoping for another Roddick-Fed final but this time with Roddick winning. This makes us this much more excited for the US Open! So if I am not blogging that is because I'm watching tennis. The downside is that the live night matches there start at 1am here which means I am not etting much sleep, but it is so worth it.

Christmas Break!

This last Christmas Break was a great one! I somehow managed, with the help of my very generous manager at work, to get 10 days off after Christmas. We spent the Holidays with both of our families and had a blast. We left Christmas night to go to Costa Rica with Trevor's family and had a blast for 7 days. Costa Rica was amazing, I was so impressed! It blew Hawaii and Mexico out of the water. We rented an apartment in a high rise on the beach and it was amazing. we all had our own space but were connected to a hotel so had those amenities too! We stayed in Jaco, and were right by downtown and got to wander around every night, it was awesome! Kenna and Winston were soooo generous and we had such a blast. Coming home was a bummer, we miss the sun! Thanks Kenna and Winston!!
