Mother's Day

Mother's Day was lots of fun this year. Trevor and I are pretty lucky in the mom department. We have two great moms that live close and are way too good to us. We just love them so much and are so thankful we have them in our lives.

Trevor spoiled me and celebrated my first mother's day perfectly. He got me a new point and shoot camera (so I can take lots of pictures of little Brooklyn) with all the accessories and some very pretty flowers I have loved having on my table this week. I just love that boy.

We spent the morning at Trevor's parents house and made breakfast for Kenna and then the afternoon at my house. My brother and Trevor made dinner for everyone (cornish game hens, garlic mashed potatoes, rolls, and prosciutto wrapped green beans). It was so delicious. They wouldn't let any of us lift a finger- it was great. Trevor spent the afternoon playing baseball in the backyard with Liza- too cute. Every time she sees him she says "T!!" in her high pitched voice. We then stopped over at Grandma Nolen's house to have some dessert and see the rest of the family. It is always fun to go over there! Although we drive all over the greater Denver area on most holidays, I wouldn't trade having family close for anything.
